LIU’s Media Arts department hosted a masterclass with veteran TV writer and producer Valerie Woods, who recently signed on to become Co-Executive Producer on Queen Sugar. On Sunday, October 21, our cohorts joined this powerhouse as she shared her experiences about writing historical drama for television, as well as some anecdotes about the industry.
