Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin, co-creators of the upcoming Netflix series Hit and Run, visited the TV Writers Studio classroom on November 4. The duo discussed their creative process, how to run a TV room so that every voice is heard, and the nuts and bolts of putting together a new show.
Dawn and Nicole were in New York filming the first episodes of Hit and Run, an espionage thriller drama they've created with Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, creators of the praised Netflix series Fauda. Yorkin and Prestwich executive produced The Killing. They also were creators and showrunners of Amazon’s Z: The Beginning of Everything and CBS’ The Education of Max Bickford as well as executive producers/showrunners on FX’s The Riches.
